Helpful Guest Notes

Here are a few notes that will be helpful:

1.  Please contact us at your earliest convenience if you know you need to cancel or change your reservation in any way.  We try very hard to accommodate the special people that choose to visit us in any way we reasonably can.

2.  You do have access to a full kitchen (dishes, cookware, coffee pot, microwave, stove, sink, refrigerator, etc.).  Bring any food items you need to make your visit pleasurable.  You will be 15 minutes from the local restaurants, grocery stores, drug store, etc.

3.  Please be VERY careful crossing railroad tracks no matter which route you choose to come in if you have a large horse trailer – especially the ones with living quarters, tanks underneath, etc. so that you do not drag coming across them.  We have not had anyone that could not get across them, but a heads up on a potential problem is always best so caution can be used in crossing.  We did have some women to tell us to give a heads up on coming through from Scottsboro via Fackler (County Rd 42).  Coming that route on County Rd 55, you will be coming through Low Gap across Crow Mountain.  There are a couple of hair pin turns you may want to be aware of if you have a large trailer.  Again, no one has had a problem, but just in case you would like to know ahead of time, you can choose whether you would rather come in through Stevenson instead.

4.  We are flexible on check in and check out hours so long as we do not have guests coming in or leaving on the same day.  This has not been a problem so far, so check with us to be sure if you want to check in before 3 pm or check out after 11 am.  We will accommodate you in any way we can.  Also, please let us know if you will be checking in after 7 pm so we can be sure to accommodate your needs appropriately.

Thank you for choosing us as your destination.  We feel sure the beauty of this land will not disappoint you.  Safe travels and happy trails!  We look forward to seeing you, Kat
